2. Enter the traffic source’s name

In the search bar enter type “RichAds”, then select the traffic type (in this example it will be either “push” or “pops”). After that click “Next”.

3. Save changes

The template will automatically fill out the form, so you just need to press “Save” button in the bottom right corner of the form.

Step 2: How to integrate an affiliate network with BeMob

1. Add a new affiliate network at BeMob

Find “Affilate Networks” tab in the upper panel, then click “New” and select “New From Template”.

2. Enter the affiliate network’s name

In the opened window start typing the affiliate network’s name in the search bar, then select the needed from the list below. In our example, we used “3SNET“. After that, click the “Next” button.

3. Save changes

If the additional information required, you can contact managers from the CPA-network for it. For example we checked “Append BeMob click ID value” and “Use postback statuses”, so that “click_id” featuring URLs would integrate and display correctly. But if everything is correct and intact, press the “Save” button.

So, we have connected the affiliate network to the tracker. The next step is to add offers. Let’s get into this then!

Step 3: How to add a CPA offer at BeMob

Let’s set up the offer and connect it to BeMob. We will show the process by example of “3SNET” affiliate network’s offer. To integrate CPA offer with the tracker, you need to:

1. Get the offer’s tracking link at an affiliate network

You can request it in your affiliate network or find it in the offer card. For example, in 3snet, you can find it the “Offers” tab while selecting an offer. Copy and save it.

2. Add a new offer at BeMob

Find “Offers” tab in the tracker top menu, then click the “New” button.

3. Enter the offer’s info

In the newly opened window you need to specify some info:

  • Enter offer’s name in then “Name” bar;
  • Specify the CPA-network in the “Affiliate network” bar (in our example it’s 3SNET);
  • Insert the link to the offer that you’ve saved previously, in the “URL” field;
  • Add “&cid={clickid}” token to it, so that postback gets enabled, but if you haven’t added macros to the link before, instead add “/?cid={clickid}“;
  • Copy the the link from “Postback URL” field below and save it;

Then press “Save” button.

4. Add postback at the affiliate network

Now you need to set up the offer postback at the affiliate network. In order to do that, proceed to the offer and press “Add postback”.

This is how it looks in our example using 3SNET, the process might vary from now on, so check the step with managers at the affiliate network, you’ve got the offer from.

5. Set the parameters for postback

In the newly opened window, insert the postback URL that you’ve just got in the field “URL”. Then select the status, goal and integration method.

6. Save changes

After you’ve adjusted all the necessary field, click the “Add postback” button”.

This completes the integration of the offer. Connect all the necessary offers to the tracker, after which you need to create a flow. Let’s figure out how to do it in the next step.

Step 4: How to create a tracking stream at BeMob

Find the “Flows” tab in the tracker’s upper menu, then click the “New” button.

In the newly opened window click “Add new path”, then select the type of redirect and add landing pages, or disable the function if you don’t have them. You can enter the exact same info as on the picture. After than add the offers you’ve connected by clicking “Add offer” button and choosing the needed ones.

If everything is correct — press “Save”.

Now only the last stage remains – the creation of a tracking campaign. Let’s move on to it!

Step 5: How to create a tracking campaign at BeMob

To unite all the connected sources, you need to create a tracking campaign at BeMob. To do that, you need to:

1. Create a new tracking campaign at BeMob

Proceed to the “Campaigns” tab, that you can find the tracker’s top menu. Then click the “New” button.

2. Adjust the campaign’s info

In the opened form, specify the following info:

  • Enter the tracking campaign’s name in the “Name” field;
  • Select the needed ad network you’ve connected in the “Traffic source” field (in our example it’s “RichAds – Push”);
  • Check the “Send Postback, %” box;
  • Specify the flow by choosing the one you’v added in the step 4.

Then, if everything is put correct — press the “Save” button.

3. Copy the campaign URL

After saving, you will be shown a window with URLs. You need to copy the one in “Campaign URL” field and save it.

4. Paste the URL into RichAds

Then proceed to RichAds, and enter the “Campaign URL” from previous point into “Destination URL” field.

What is a conversion?

Conversion is any targeted action which the user should perform on the offer page so the advertiser pays a fee.

There are different types of targeted actions:

  • following the link,
  • filling the form,
  • adding goods to the shopping cart,

The more difficult the action, the more expensive it will be evaluated. For example, registration is a simple action for a low price, but an order is a complicated one and the payout will be higher.

Conversion is the last action, anyway. If the user finishes with the registration, it will be counted as a conversion. If he buys something, the payout will be for the purchase.

How does it work? It’s simple: click ID is attributed to any user’s click. But when the targeted action is performing, the system understands that a certain click ID is a conversion itself. How to set up pixel properly

You need pixel tracking in case you have no information from the affiliate network.

The most important thing in pixel configuration is the page on which it’s set up. This type of conversion can count switch to any page. But only shift to a certain page will be counted as conversion, that’s why you should place pixel wisely.

If you place the pixel on the page where the user should fill in his personal data, you won’t know the number of real conversions, because the tool will count all the users who went to the page. While some of them left the data and some didn’t. The best solution is to place the pixel on the page following the targeted action. Let’s set up the offer and connect it toRedTrack. We will show the process by example of “LeadBit” affiliate network’s offer. To integrate CPA offer with the tracker, you need to:

1. Find an offer at CPA network

In our case, at LeadBit you need to proceed to “Offers” tab in the affiliate network’s panel on the left.

2. Select an offer

At LeadBit you need can see either “Create tracking URL” or “View more” buttons alongside the offers list. Click on “Create tracking URL”, or “View more” where you will find all the offers and their tracking URL of the provider.

3. Adjust tracking info

In the newly open window you need to specify the offer’s name, traffic source (in our case it’s RichAds), and links to the landing pages.

4. Add the postback URL

Don’t leave the page, rather scroll down and insert the previously copied URL in the “Postback URL” field. You can set up postback links on several actions, for example, on confirmed leads. Then scroll down again, and press “Create flow” button.

5. Get the tracking link for the offer

Go to the “Tracking URL” tab at LeadBit and press the paperclip icon near the needed offer in the list.

6. Copy the tracking link

In the newly opened window you need to copy the link in the field, as you can see on the screenshot, then save it.

7. Add a new offer at RedTrack

Select the tab “Offers” at RedTrack tracker, and press the “New” button.

In the opened window, set the offer’s name, affiliate network as an offer’s source, and paste the tracking URL in the “URL” field. Then press “Save” button to save changes.

Log in to your account in affiliate network. Find the advertising offer in the catalogue and create a new stream by clicking on the “Create stream” button.

In the form for creating a new stream, enter its name, select the traffic source (for example “Push”), country, landing page and, if necessary, pre-landing page.

Paste the Keitaro postback that was generated earlier in the “Postback URL” field. In “Postback Type”, select the value “POST”. Then mark the necessary lead statuses and set the sub_id (you can get the sub_id token from your affiliate network’s support team). After that press “Save” in the bottom of the page.

After you’ve saved the offer settings, copy the “Tracker URL”, then press “Create stream”.

    At this step, we will show how to add RichAds as a traffic source at Binom. That’s needed to provide the tracker with access to information on the ad campaigns traffic sources.
  2. Connecting an affiliate network to Binom
    This step is to connect the data collection on the affiliate network side to Binom. That’s required to get affiliate network data on the offer and redirect it to Binom.
  3. Setting up an offer for tracking at Binom
    At this stage, the CPA offer will be connected to conversion tracking at Binom for direct data share. That’s to back-up data given by affiliate networks and ad networks.
  4. Creating tracking campaigns at Binom
    At this step, we will show what needs to be done in order to get all of those sources connected into one tracking campaign.

Do try to not miss any of those steps, as only if followed in correct order the tool will show more accurate results!

Step 1: Adding RichAds traffic source

Start by creating a traffic source within the tracker. It’s necessary so that the tracker can receive data from our advertising network. 

Use a ready-made template, which is already built into the tracker. To do this, you need to do the following actions.

1. Add a new traffic source

To do this proceed to to the “Traffic sources” tab in the top panel, and then select “Create”.

2. Choose an traffic source template

On the new tab appeared click “Load from template”.

3. Enter ad network’s name

In the list start entering “RichAds” in the search bar, then choose among the matches that roll appeared. In our case we can choose between “RichAds – Pops”, and “RichAds – Push”.

4. Save changes

As soon as the traffic source selected you can save changes by pressing “Save”.

This completes adding the traffic source. The next step is to integrate the partner network.

Step 2: Connecting the affiliate network to Binom tracker

The tracker must be integrated with the platform to receive data from an affiliate program. We show what it looks like on the Dr.Cash affiliate network example.

1. Add a new affiliate network

Find the “Aff. networks” button in the top menu, proceed, and then click the “Create” button.

2. Choose an affiliate network template

To do that, click on “Load from catalog” button.

3. Enter the affiliate network’s name

Start typing the name of the affiliate network in the search bar and click on the desired.

4. Copy the postback URL

After you’ve chosen the affiliate network, the data will generate automatically. Now copy the postback address and save it. Then click “Save”.

5. Paste the postback URL in the affiliate network

Enter it in the “Postback URL” field when creating a campaign in your affiliate program.

When everything is ready, you can save the changes and move on to the next step – the creation of an offer.

Step 3: Setting up the offer for tracking

The next is connecting a CPA offer to the tracker. Here is what you need to add an offer.

1. Create a new offer

You need to select the “Offers” tab in the top menu, and then click “Create” button.

2. Add info of the offer

A window will open in which you must enter data from the offer:

  • Title. You can just copy from the Affiliate Program or come up with your own.
  • URL of the offer. It can be taken from the affiliate program.
  • Country. If you have not yet decided on the region for advertise to, select “Global”.
  • Affiliate Program. Just select it from the drop-down list box. You have already integrated the Affiliate Program with the tracker.
  • Amount of payment. Enter it manually or copy it from the Affiliate Program site.

After filling the needed, press “Save” to finish the adding.

Done, you’ve added an offer. Keep adding the necessary offers, and when you’re done, it’s time to move on to the last step and create a campaign in Binom.

Step 4: Сreating a campaign in Binom tracker

It only remains to combine the offer, the source of traffic and affiliate program in a single campaign. To do this, you need to do the following actions.

1. Add a new tracking campaign

Just proceed to the “Campaigns” tab and press “Create”.

2. Set up your new campaign

In the drop-down window, you must specify:

  • Name. This is the name of the campaign.
  • Source of traffic. This is RichAds push or pops, depending on which sorts of traffic you connected in step #1.
  • Payment model. Select the desired payment model and enter the rate. At this point, you can click “Auto” and the system will collect the data for you.
  • The offer. Just choose the right offer from the list, you added them in the last paragraph.
  • Landing page. If it is not available, select “Direct”, otherwise the tracker will not allow you to save the campaign.

3. Save changes and copy the campaign URL

If the needed data is put correctly, the campaign URL will generate automatically. Copy it, and then you click the “Close” button in the top right.

4. Paste the campaign URL in RichAds

In a campaign launching at RichAds just paste the campaign URL in the “Destination URL” field.

What is a postback integration?

Postback, or S2S (server-to-server) postback — is a way of tracking data of actions performed on different platforms. For example, it can connect the data collection from affiliate networks and ad networks, sending it to a tracker. Then the tracker preserves the gathered data in one piece, for example, conversions from CPA networks and data on traffic sources from ad networks. Thus, integrated postback allows to properly analyse ad campaign data without switching tabs and trying to figure out which end was from.

With the scope of postback gathered data it’s possible to optimize and narrow targeting parameters for your ad campaign. Also integrated postback unlocks the usage of unique platform features. For example, at RichAds connecting with postback allows launching ad campaigns in TargetCPA mode, which provides better optimization on traffic sources and getting the most conversions within the budget and desired CPA. How to set up conversion tracking at Voluum: step-by-step guide

Now we will show you how to set up Voluum integration with RichAds ad network, affiliate network and the offer for your ad campaign!

What will be in the guide:

  1. Connecting RichAds with Voluum
    At this step, we will show how to add RichAds as a traffic source at Voluum. That’s needed to provide the tracker with access to information on the ad campaigns traffic sources.
  2. Connecting an affiliate network to Voluum
    This step is to connect the data collection on the affiliate network side to Voluum. That’s required to get affiliate network data on the offer and redirect it to Voluum.
  3. Setting up an offer for tracking at Voluum
    At this stage, the CPA offer will be connected to conversion tracking at Voluumk for direct data share. That’s to back-up data given by affiliate networks and ad networks.
  4. Creating tracking campaigns at Voluum
    At this step, we will show what needs to be done in order to get all of those sources connected into one tracking campaign.

Also we will show how to add an offer if the affiliate network isn’t already integrated with Voluum tracker.

Step 1: Adding RichAds traffic source

This stage is inherently simple since RichAds is already integrated with Voluum. All you need to do is pick a campaign template. Here’s how it looks in practice:

1. Find the “Traffic sources” tab

The button can be found in the upper menu of the tracker. Then click the green button “Create” and choose “Traffic source”.

2. Enter the traffic source name

Type “RichAds” in the search bar and depending on the type of traffic choose either push or pops.

3. Save changes

After making your choice, save your changes by clicking “Next”.

And that’s about it. The traffic source has been added to the tracker. Now all you need to do is join an affiliate program, add offers and set up the postback. Moving on to the next stages!

Step 2: Connecting the affiliate network to Voluum tracker 

Let’s start with connecting the ad network. Voluum is integrated with many affiliate networks, so you can find most of them in the list of templates.

1. Create new “Affiliate network” template

Click on the tab “Affiliate networks” which can be found in the top panel of the screen. Then click the green “Create” button and in the drop-down list, choose “Affiliate network”.

2. Enter the name of the СРА network

Type the affiliate network’s name in the search bar and pick a template. For our example, we added AdCombo.

3. Save changes

After that, click “Next” – the affiliate network has been connected.

Step 3: Setting up the offer for tracking

The next step is setting up the offer. To connect an offer, you need to:

1. Go to the “Offers” tab in Voluum.

In the tab click “Create” and choose the “Offer” option.

Look for the “Offers” tab in the upper menu.

2. Add info of the offer

After that, a window for setting up the offer will pop up. Type the affiliate network name and choose the needed among the “Affiliate network” list that will drop. The menu will include all APs that have been added to the tracker. Then enter the name of the offer.

3. Add the URL address of the offer

In the field “Offer URL” insert the URL address of the offer.  If you’ve already integrated the affiliate network, the data will appear automatically. Then if everything’s put correctly – press “Save”.

Step 4: Сreating a tracking campaign in Voluum

You have already connected all the main sources of information to the tracker, it remains only to combine them into a campaign. For this you need to:

1. Find the “Campaigns” tab

It is in the top right menu.

Click the green button “Create” and in the drop-down menu choose “Campaign”.

3. Pick a campaign creation form

Next, you need to pick the “type” of the campaign, it will determine how flexible your targeting settings will be. In most cases, the “Simple form” will suffice.

4. Set the traffic source

In the drop-down list of picking a traffic source choose the needed. In our case, it’ll be either “RichAds Push” or “RichAds Pops”.

5. Set transition type and choose the offer

Choose “Redirect” in “Transition between ad and campaign funnel” and also “Offers only” in “Path Destination”. In the “Offers” menu, choose the offer you connected in the article’s previous section.

6. Copy the URL address

Next, the Tracking & Automizer window will open. All you need to do here is copy the URL, click “Done”.

7. Paste the URL in RichAds

Insert the URL address you just have got into the “Destination URL” at RichAds.

How to add an offer if the affiliate network isn’t integrated?

In the following, we will tell you how to add an offer to Voluum if the affiliate network is not integrated.

1. Get “{clickid}” token

Ask AP managers to provide you with the “{clickid}” token for your offer.

2. Add the “{clickid}” token to your offer URL

For example, if your offer looks like https://my_offer.com and the affiliate program is using the “S2” parameter to transfer data, the URL needs to look like this: https://my_offer.com?s2={clickid}.

In other words, you need to enter the “?” symbol, the affiliate network’s data and the “={clickid}” line.

3. Enter the offer and just added affiliate network info

The offer URL with “clickid” token just added the affiliate network, which will be shown in the drop-down list. Choose an affiliate network from the “Affiliate network” list that will drop. The menu will include all APs that have been added to the tracker. After that, click “Save”.

What is S2S Postback Integration in Affiliate Marketing?

If you are not familiar with the term, an S2S postback is an integration between the advertising network and the CPA network in one place — in the tracker. S2S means server to server data transfer.

You no longer have to click through tabs to correlate traffic data in one and information about conversions in another.

Why do you need a Postback for Push ads?

Ordinary Push ads are received by the people who have been subscribed to push ads at some website. The user leaves that website and starts to receive ads via browser technologies. 

Google Analytics won’t work correctly when you show your ads on push ads. 

Push ads are sent via browsers and not connected to the actual page, so this one counts the visit when the page opens. Advertisers can’t even see on which pages push notifications will appear so the number of clicks on your ads won’t be shown correctly. 

Google Analytics is a good tool, but it doesn’t work with push ads. But ad tracker does.
